Job Description

As Coordinator, PR & Communications, you will assist with the development of communications strategies and PR initiatives to promote and gain overall brand awareness for Nickerson’s client-partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the strategy and execution for high-impact marketing and communications campaigns on behalf of our client-partners
  • Develop content to promote our client-partners and their initiatives (e.g. press releases, award submissions, media pitches, etc.)
  • Collaborate across all Nickerson departments (creative services, events, social media) to develop integrated communications programs
  • Support client-partners during crises
  • Assist in the mentorship of associates/interns
  • Manage administration across accounts, including strategic reporting, scheduling interviews, etc.
  • Adhere to agency systems, processes and best practices
  • Foster a sense of culture across the team and agency
  • Promote Nickerson through regular liking/sharing of content on social media
  • Execute upon the strategic promotion of Nickerson (e.g. writing, content development, etc.)
  • Identify business development opportunities within current client-partner relationships
  • Active participation within at least one (1) industry organization(s)
  • Attend networking events monthly 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Demonstrated sophisticated writing, with strong presentation and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines
  • Previous experience with client management/engagement/success
  • Real estate and architecture PR and communications experience, preferred
  • Agency experience, preferred
  • Competence in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneDrive
  • Previous experience with project management software (preferably Asana)
  • Experience managing a CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • A willingness to represent the agency at networking events and through professional memberships
  • The ability to adapt and add value within a highly innovative agency

Location and Travel:

Team member will work fully remotely with some anticipated travel to client-partners, industry events, etc.

Candidates must be based in Greater Boston, MA
