As Senior Specialist, Social Media, you will promote Nickerson and our partners by developing social media and digital marketing strategies to promote and gain overall brand and product awareness for our real estate, financial services, technology, restaurant, hospitality and lifestyle partners. This position is based in Greater Boston.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Lead the planning and execution of long and short-term, high impact social media and integrated digital marketing campaigns for partners
  • Ability to build and maintain content calendars for variety of partners across the real estate, lifestyle, restaurant, and hospitality sectors
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Ability to develop creative content, and speak in multiple voices on behalf of partners
  • Sophisticated writer and thinker, with ability to connect with variety of audiences
  • React quickly to crisis situations
  • Collaborate across creative services, events, and public relations departments to develop and execute integrated communications programs
  • Set client expectations, managing all deliverables to ensure projects remain within scope
  • Develop and foster influencer relationships to further promote Nickerson’s partners
  • Prepare and deliver social media performance metrics to Leadership Team
  • Mentor and manage social media team members who are direct report
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Agency experience required
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the real estate industry is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, digital marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience required with current and direct related experience in managing and executing external and internal social media/digital marketing programs
  • Advanced writing, verbal communications, presentation, and project management skills
  • Competence in Microsoft computer programs including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Experience with a CRM software a plus
  • Strategic yet creative thinker, self-starter and team player willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
