Senior Manager, Social
Job Description
As Senior Manager, Social Media, you will create and execute social media and digital marketing strategies, amplifying brand awareness for Nickerson and our real estate, technology, retail, and lifestyle client-partners. In this role, you will develop and manage social media content and profiles on behalf of Nickerson and our client-partners, collaborating with our larger marketing team to implement integrated marketing campaigns to drive client-partner success.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of long and short-term, high impact social media and integrated digital marketing campaigns for Nickerson and our client-partners
- Build and maintain content calendars for a variety of client-partners across the real estate, technology, retail, and lifestyle sectors
- Develop creative content, and speak in multiple voices on behalf of partners
- Connect with a variety of audiences, demonstrating sophisticated writing and thinking
- Collaborate across creative services, events, and public relations departments to develop and execute integrated communications and marketing programs
- Set client expectations and manage all deliverables to ensure projects remain within scope
- Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns on behalf of Nickerson and our client-partners
- Develop and foster influencer relationships to further promote Nickerson’s client-partners when appropriate
- Prepare and deliver social media performance metrics to Nickerson team and client-partners
- Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- React quickly to crisis situations managing social media monitoring where/when appropriate
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media algorithms and best practices
- Conduct social media audits to identify areas for improvement
- Adhere to agency systems, processes and best practices, serving as example for Nickerson team
- Foster a sense of culture across the team and agency
- Identify business development opportunities within current client-partner relationships
- Maintain membership in professional organization(s)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field, preferred
- 3+ years of professional experience in social media management preferred
- Experience managing social media accounts for multiple business entities with varying voices
- Demonstrated exemplary writing and critical-thinking abilities
- Previous experience with client management/engagement/success
- Competence in Microsoft365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
- Experience with graphic design in Canva a plus
- Previous experience with project management software (preferably Asana)
- Experience managing a CRM (preferably Salesforce)
- A willingness to represent the agency at networking events and through professional memberships
- The ability to adapt and add value within a highly innovative agency
Compensation:
This is a full-time, remote position and the salary will be commensurate with experience and location.
Salary range: $75,000-$85,000
Location and Travel:
Team member will work fully remotely with some anticipated travel to local NY or Boston client-partners, industry events, etc.
Candidates must be based in Greater Boston, MA or New York City
